Travel in Morocco can involve unpredictable elements — remote landscapes, variable weather, and local infrastructure. For your safety and peace of mind, comprehensive travel insurance is mandatory for all Slow Morocco journeys.
1. Minimum Coverage Required
Your policy must include:
Medical and emergency evacuation coverage (including repatriation if required)
Trip cancellation and interruption protection
Personal accident and liability coverage
Loss or theft of luggage and personal belongings
Before your trip begins, we may request proof of coverage or your insurer’s emergency contact details.
2. Responsibility and Limitations
Slow Morocco does not sell or arrange insurance directly. It is your responsibility to obtain coverage that meets your personal needs and country of residence.
Failure to secure adequate insurance may result in your exclusion from certain activities, and we cannot be held liable for any loss, injury, or expense arising from lack of coverage.
3. Recommended Providers
We recommend purchasing insurance through a reputable international insurer that offers 24-hour emergency assistance and covers travel to Morocco. Many major credit cards offer limited coverage; check carefully before relying on them.
4. Medical Conditions
Please disclose any relevant medical conditions before booking so we can advise whether your chosen itinerary is suitable. Insurance must cover pre-existing conditions if applicable.
5. Claims and Documentation
In the event of loss or injury, contact your insurer immediately. Slow Morocco will provide supporting documents such as invoices, booking confirmations, or incident reports to assist with your claim, but all reimbursement requests must be made directly to your insurer.
