Northern Highlands Journey — Seven Days of Green Silence
Duration: 7 days / 6 nights
Fès → Ifrane → Azrou (short stop) → Ouezzane → Chefchaouen → Akchour → Tangier
Essence: A week across Morocco’s northern spine — forests, rivers, and blue cities folded between hills of mist and stone.
From the imperial calm of Fes to the blue quiet of Chefchaouen — a journey through Morocco’s northern highlands, where the air turns cool and the land folds into green silence.
Day 1 – Fes
Arrival in Fes, Morocco’s old soul. The sound of metalwork, the scent of cedar. Wander the narrow lanes as the city glows honey and grey in the late light. Overnight in a riad beneath tiled arches.
Day 2 – Fes to Chefchaouen
A day of blue light and quiet rhythm — wander alleys, visit the kasbah, rest in rooftop gardens.
Day 3 – Chefchaouen
A day of blue light and quiet rhythm — wander alleys, visit the kasbah, rest in rooftop gardens.
Day 4 – Akchour Valleys
Drive to the waterfalls and the Bridge of God; picnic by the river and return by dusk.
Day 5 – Chefchaouen → Tetouan → Asilah
Descend westward to Tetouan, white and luminous at the mountain’s base. Continue to Asilah — ocean breeze, painted walls, and the sound of gulls.
Day 6 – Asilah → Tangier
Morning beside the sea; drive north to Tangier. Visit the Kasbah Museum or the Caves of Hercules at Cap Spartel.
Day 7 – Tangier (Departure)
Final morning on the strait — where two continents watch each other in the wind.
