At Slow Morocco, every journey is tailor-made. We work closely with local partners, small accommodations, and guides who rely on confirmed bookings. Our refund policy reflects both fairness to our travellers and respect for the communities we support.

1. Cancellations by the Traveller

All cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by Slow Morocco.
Unless otherwise specified in your booking confirmation, the following policy applies:

  • More than 45 days before departure → Full refund of deposit minus a 10% administrative fee.

  • 30–45 days before departure → 50% refund of total trip cost.

  • Less than 30 days before departure → No refund possible.

  • No-shows or early departures → Non-refundable.

Refunds are calculated based on the total amount received, not including bank or transfer fees.

We strongly advise purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellations for medical, family, or emergency reasons.

2. Cancellations by Slow Morocco

In the unlikely event that Slow Morocco must cancel your trip due to circumstances beyond our control (such as political unrest, natural disasters, or supplier default), you will be offered one of the following options:

  • A full refund of all payments made to Slow Morocco,

  • Or the option to reschedule or transfer your payment to a future trip within 12 months.

Refunds do not cover expenses outside our control (e.g., international flights, visas, or independent accommodation booked elsewhere).

3. Changes to Itinerary

Minor adjustments may occasionally occur due to weather, road conditions, or partner availability. Such changes do not entitle clients to a refund if the overall quality and value of the journey remain intact.
If a major change becomes necessary before departure, we will offer an alternative of equal value or a partial refund if no suitable option exists.

4. Refund Method

Refunds are processed through the same payment method originally used, unless otherwise agreed.
Processing times vary depending on the bank or payment platform; please allow up to 21 business days after written confirmation of your refund.

5. Force Majeure

If your trip is disrupted or cancelled due to events outside our reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, or border closures — Slow Morocco will make every effort to provide alternatives or partial refunds in accordance with supplier policies.
Full refunds may not always be possible, but we commit to transparency and goodwill in every case.
