A week between mountain and sea. From Tangier’s bright edge to Chefchaouen’s quiet blue, then down to Tetouan and Asilah — white cities washed by wind and salt.
Day 1 – Tangier
Arrive in Tangier, city of light and crossings. Walk the kasbah at sunset, the sea turning silver below. Evening air carries the scent of cedar and salt.
Day 2 – Tangier to Chefchaouen
Drive south into the Rif Mountains, where villages appear like white threads in the distance. Arrive in Chefchaouen, its alleys painted in shades of morning sky.
Day 3 – Chefchaouen
A full day to wander. The sound of fountains, the feel of cool plaster under your hand. Afternoon tea on a terrace watching light climb the hills.
Day 4 – Chefchaouen to Tetouan
Descend toward Tetouan, once Andalusia reborn in miniature. Visit the medina’s courtyards and zellige workshops, where pattern meets silence.
Day 5 – Tetouan to Asilah
Follow the coastal road to Asilah, a small white town balanced between wall and ocean. Afternoon walk along the ramparts as sea spray softens the light.
Day 6 – Asilah
A day of stillness. Watch fishermen mend nets, visit small galleries, or read in the shade of a courtyard. Evening tide erases the footprints on the sand.
Day 7 – Tangier
Drive north along the coast, the road tracing the edge of the sea. End where it began — Tangier, bright and suspended between two worlds.
