Sidi Ifni Beach

The Atlantic beach below the Spanish town — a wide bay of dark sand facing the full force of the ocean. The swell here is powerful and consistent, making it one of the better surf spots on the southern Atlantic coast. The beach is empty on most days. The cliffs above it hold the remains of the Spanish cable car that once connected the town to the beach below.
