Telouet Village

The village around the Glaoui kasbah — a small community of families who stayed after el-Glaoui's fall, farming the valley and receiving the visitors who come for the kasbah. The village sits at 1,800 metres on the old caravan route between Marrakech and Ouarzazate that the Tizi n'Tichka road replaced. The old route over the Tizi n'Telouet pass is still walkable.
