Ouezzane Medina
The medina of Ouezzane climbs a steep hillside in the western Rif — a city of white and pale blue walls built around the zaouia of the Ouezzane sharifs, the religious dynasty that governed northern Morocco spiritually for three centuries. The medina is compact, quiet, and almost entirely unvisited by tourists, which means the wool souk, the oil press, and the daily market still operate without an audience.
