Ouzoud Gorge

The gorge that the Oued el-Abid has carved through the limestone plateau below Ouzoud — accessible by a trail from the falls that descends into the canyon. The gorge walls are 300 metres high, the river below runs cold and clear, and the trail passes through olive orchards and past Amazigh mills that still grind grain.
