Rif Foothills

The landscape around Ouezzane — olive groves on the lower slopes, cedar forest on the ridges, the Pre-Rif hills stretching north toward the Mediterranean. The view from the hill above the medina takes in four valleys simultaneously. The agricultural land below the city has been farmed continuously since Roman times.
