Jebel Saghro Nomad Routes

The trekking routes through the Jebel Saghro massif follow the seasonal migration paths of the Aït Atta — the Amazigh nomads who have moved their herds between the High Atlas in summer and the pre-Saharan lowlands in winter for centuries. The landscape is volcanic, dramatic, and largely unknown: black rock formations, isolated ksour, the occasional nomad encampment. No infrastructure, no crowds.
