Skoura Kasbahs

The palmeraie of Skoura contains more kasbahs per square kilometre than almost anywhere in Morocco — over twenty major fortified residences, many of them still inhabited, others converted to guesthouses. The Kasbah Amridil is the most famous, but the unnamed kasbahs glimpsed through the palm canopy are often more atmospheric.
