Toubkal Base Camp
The refuge at 3,207 metres that serves as the staging point for the summit of Jebel Toubkal — at 4,167 metres, the highest peak in North Africa and the Arab world. The path from Imlil to the base camp takes four hours. The summit attempt from the refuge takes another four. Most people who reach the top do so in two days, sleeping at the refuge in between.
