Dakhla Ocean Surf

The Atlantic-facing side of the Dakhla peninsula has a series of surf breaks accessible only at high tide — powerful reef breaks and beach breaks fed by the same swell that drives the kitesurfing on the lagoon side. Less developed than the lagoon scene, known mainly to surfers who make the journey specifically. The wave quality is exceptional when the swell direction is right.
