Agadir Corniche

The seafront promenade of Agadir — the boulevard that runs the length of the beach behind a strip of hotels, restaurants, and cafés. Designed as part of the post-earthquake rebuilding, it gives the city its resort identity. On summer evenings the corniche fills with Moroccan families, tourists, and the particular mixture of the two that makes Agadir different from the more exclusively tourist beach towns of Europe.
