Agdal Basin Meknes
A vast artificial lake built by Moulay Ismail in the 17th century to supply water to the royal stables and gardens — 4 hectares of still water enclosed by pisé walls, fed by underground channels from the Middle Atlas. Still intact after three centuries. Used today as a reservoir. The walls around it are original.
