El Jadida Port

The working port of El Jadida, operating from outside the Portuguese ramparts on the north side of the city. Sardine boats, phosphate barges from the Khouribga mines, and the occasional cargo vessel. Morocco is the world's largest exporter of phosphate rock. Much of it leaves from here.
