Talborjt Quarter

The neighbourhood built after the 1960 earthquake to rehouse the survivors of the destroyed medina — a planned quarter with a souk, a mosque, and the market streets that give Agadir its only medina-like experience. It is not a historic medina; it is a functional one, built in 1963, serving the daily needs of the city's Moroccan population rather than its tourists.
