Rabat Atlantic Coast
The Atlantic coastline south of Rabat stretches for kilometres — wide beaches of pale sand, strong surf, and the kind of cold clean light that explains why the city has always felt more European than Moroccan to visitors. The corniche runs along the cliff above the water. In winter the ocean is too cold for swimming. It is never too cold for watching.
