The Todra Gorge is one of the premier rock climbing destinations in Africa — 300-metre walls of orange limestone, over 150 established routes, and a base camp in the gorge itself. Climbers have been coming since the 1980s. The walls that make it spectacular to walk through make it technically demanding to climb: vertical, compact, and exposed to the afternoon sun.
