Tinghir Kasbah

The kasbah complex at the edge of Tinghir's palmeraie — a Glaoui-era fortified residence built in the early 20th century on the foundations of a much older structure. The tower rooms are abandoned, the courtyard overgrown, but the scale and the ornamental detail of the pisé work — geometric relief patterns in the upper registers — are still visible.
