Zagora

The main town of the lower Draa Valley — a Protectorate-era administrative centre that also serves as the last significant resupply point before Mhamid and the open desert. Famous for its sign: "Timbuktu 52 days" — the old camel caravan time, now meaningless but deeply evocative. The sign is still there.
