Tangier Beach

The long arc of sand that curves east from the port for several kilometres — the beach that gave Tangier its summer identity in the colonial era, when it was the playground of European diplomats and American expatriates. Still busy in summer, particularly with Moroccan families from the interior escaping the heat.
