Sidi Bouabid Mosque

The mosque that anchors the Grand Socco, built in the early 20th century with a minaret that has become the visual signature of the square. Non-Muslims may not enter. The minaret is visible from the port, from the kasbah, and from the Spanish coast on a clear day — a fixed point in a city that has always been in motion.
