Souk el-Henna
The henna market at the edge of the Qarawiyyin quarter, where natural cosmetics, kohl, and medicinal preparations have been sold from the same wooden stalls since the Marinid period. The smell of henna powder and dried roses mixes with the cedar smoke from the workshops behind. It is one of the quietest squares in Fes.
