Casablanca Old Medina
The original walled city of Casablanca, predating the French Protectorate, now surrounded by the modern metropolis on all sides. It is small — walkable in twenty minutes — and largely overlooked by visitors focused on the Hassan II Mosque. The lanes hold the city's oldest fabric: Andalusian houses, a 17th-century mosque, the working-class market that has always supplied the port.
