Bab Guissa

The northern gate of Fes el-Bali, opening toward the Marinid Tombs. Built by the Almohads, rebuilt by the Marinids, used continuously since the 12th century. The road that passes through it is the same road that caravans from Taza and the east have always used to enter the city.
