Marinid Tombs

The ruined tombs of the Marinid dynasty on the hill above Fes el-Bali — the kings who built most of what makes Fes extraordinary. The tombs themselves are rubble. The reason to climb here is the view: the entire medina spread below, 150,000 people inside walls that have never moved.
