Mouassine Mosque
A 16th-century Saadian mosque that anchors the entire Mouassine quarter. The medersa attached to it once housed students from across the Maghreb. Non-Muslims may not enter, but the wooden doors — carved cedar, ten feet tall, painted in faded greens and blues — face the street and make the point without requiring entry.
