A public garden between Jemaa el-Fna and the Hivernage district — one of the few green spaces inside the city where Marrakchis actually sit. Young men on laptops, families on Sunday afternoons, old men playing cards in the shade. Named for a traditional orchard that occupied the site for centuries. The internet access is free. The shade is better.
