Hammam Bab Doukkala

One of the oldest functioning public hammams in Marrakech, built in the 16th century and still heated by the same method — a wood-fired boiler in the basement, stoked with compressed olive stones from the oil presses. Three rooms of decreasing temperature. No locker room, no reception desk, no towels included. This is what a hammam actually is.
