Rue Riad Zitoun el-Jedid
The main artery connecting Jemaa el-Fna to the Mellah — a lane rather than a street, busy at almost every hour, lined with workshops, small fondouks, food stalls, and the entrances to hundreds of riads. The name means "new olive garden street." The olives are long gone. The lane is one of the most functional and least performative passages in the medina.
