Zaouia of Sidi Bel Abbes
The most venerated sanctuary in Marrakech, home to the tomb of the city's patron saint — one of seven — who died in 1205. Non-Muslims may not enter, but the square outside is a city in miniature: the blind begging at the gate, the students studying in the shade, the women leaving offerings. The saint was known for feeding the poor and healing the sick. The tradition continues.
